My uncle decided to build a small chapel in the countryside where he, my father and three more brothers have been born and spent their childhood and where their parents lived. He asked me to create an architectural project. Their motherland is a prairie place with warm weather and huge vastnesses. Chapel is to be on the high bank of the river close to the village. It’s designed as traditional cross-domed system church with main square hall inside and one apse on the east. The main hall is covered with crossed cylindrical vaults on which the dome is based. All bearing elements are to be built of brick with cover of plaster.
