The Moscow union of architects invited us to take part in EcoBereg festival which took place this year in Art-kvadrat cluster in Ufa. The task was to create the symbolof the festival.

The EcoBereg architectural festival is dedicated to the problems and urban planing of coastal areas, and every year it chooses a new location and new actual topics for discussion.

EcoBereg is a wave, a wave of changes, a wave of growing attention to the problems of the rivers and seas watersides. The space of the Art-kvadrat is a unique creative cluster consisting of several square courtyards united by idea of a creative people community development and making a new place in the city for new events and initiatives.

We have designed a project of an art object called “Wave in a square”, based on the main idea of the festival and its place.

And so, for two and a half days, not without the help of Art-kvadrat workers, we realized the art object so at the opening it met all the participants and visitors of the festival!
